Carroll Tasker Deal's Obituary
Carroll Tasker Deal, 102, of Boston, VA died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at UVA Culpeper Hospital. He was born March 22, 1913 in Rappahannock to the late William and Hattie Settle Deal.
Mr. Deal was an active member of Culpeper Baptist Church. He was also a member of AARP, Fairfax Rod and Gun Club, National Skeet Shooting Association, a life member of the NRA and an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Hawkins Deal; two children, Sandra Deal Jones and her husband, Emmett of Loveland, CO and Lawrence “Larry” Edward Deal of Gainesville; one brother, Donald Kenneth Deal and his wife, Alice of Boston, VA; one granddaughter, Blaire Jones Ferguson of Boulder, CO and two great grandchildren, Emory Blaire and Mason Elizabeth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Oscar Jackson Deal, Elsie Deal Cline Maggie Deal Rector, and Earl Edward Deal.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Fair Oaks Church,4601 West Ox Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030 &/or Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West St. Culpeper, VA 22701.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
