Carolyn B. Taylor's Obituary
Carolyn B. Taylor, 73, of Rixeyville died Friday, February 12, 2016 at her home. She was born July 1, 1942 in Charlottesville to the late Robert H. Brown and Virginia Hitt Brown.
Mrs. Taylor retired from Bell Atlantic Telephone Company after 28 years of service. She loved her dogs and horses, especially her beloved “Muffin.” She enjoyed attending horse events and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Bernard V. Taylor, and five children: Penny V. Martin of Brandy Station; Jeffrey W. Taylor and his companion, Alice Espey, of Rixeyville; Robin C. Fincham of Warrenton; Bernie Taylor of Rixeyville and Paige H. Walker and her husband, John, of Culpeper.
Other survivors include fourteen grandchildren: Tiffany Pollard, Kelly Bache, Casey Martin, Amanda Weeks, Justin Taylor, Joshua Fincham, Brandon Fincham, Victoria Taylor, Dakota Taylor, Emma Walker, Taylor Walker, Jenna Walker, Hayden Walker and Brant Fletcher. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 17, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Kang Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
