Carolyn Ann Sampeck's Obituary
Carolyn Ann Sampeck, 65 of Stafford County, Virginia died unexpectedly on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Fairfax Inova Hospital.
She was the daughter of Frances (Judycki) Sampeck and the late Edward Sampeck of Wethersfield, CT. She is survived by her loving son, Eric P. Miele and his wife, Hollie Miele of Stafford; her devoted sister, Kathleen Sampeck and husband, Robert Lester of Fredericksburg; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Sullo of Colchester, CT. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Sullo.
Carolyn was loved by a large family and community of friends. She was a deeply spiritual person who cherished her connection with the ancestors, and devoted much of her energy to teaching, healing, and story telling. Her courage and strength as a lung transplant recipient were inspirational to many.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Unity of Fredericksburg, 2217 Princess Anne St., Suite 101-1A, Fredericksburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in Carolyn’s name to the Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, Utah 84741 or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St., Suite 301, Chicago, IL 60611.
