Carolyn J. Greene's Obituary
In loving memory of Carolyn J. Greene, aged 73, who peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, William Richard Greene; two children, Craig Richard Greene (Rhonda) and Denise Greene Barr (Charles); one brother, Russell Lee Kilby (Susie); two sisters, Marcia Dennis Bilal (Aqeel), Jacqueline Dennis Banks (Eliza); one sister in-law, Vernie Smith Overby; aunts, Irene Timbers, Catherine Taylor, Olive Graves, four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Clifford M. Dennis Sr. and Polly Kilby Dennis and Brother Clifford M. Dennis Jr.
Carolyn was employed by Reynolds Uniform Service (Cintas) and her last position was with Continental Teves before she retired.
Carolyn found joy in gardening, politics, family moments, and indulging in lifetime movies and political programs. She especially enjoyed going to casinos with her beloved husband, Richard.
In addition, she was a great human being, a true empath. She always encouraged others to help those who want to help themselves. She loved to talk, and she was a good listener. She was a very spiritual person and a naturally giving person. May her gentle spirit and love be remembered always.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will be held immediately following at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Harrison Williams officiating.
