Carolyn Ann Davis-Marsh's Obituary
Carolyn Ann Davis-Marsh, 65, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 30 years, David Alfred Marsh, Sr.; daughter Michelle Nicole Harris, of Spotsylvania; her father, Malford Davis of Stafford County; sister, Theresa Dishong; brother, John Lingafelt; and nephew, Josh Holland and his fiancée, Staci Leggitt, all of Hampton; two great nieces; three great nephews; along with many other family and friends that loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Gary.
Carolyn was an active member with Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad for 28 years. She was the agency’s President for the last eight years and prior to that served as Captain for ten years.
A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg, 10719 Courthouse Road.
A luncheon will immediately follow at Spotsylvania County Fire and Rescue Company 1, 7200 Courthouse Commons Boulevard at Spotsylvania Courthouse.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 101, Spotsylvania, VA 22553; or to the Fredericksburg SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
