Carolyn Jean Blankenship's Obituary
Carolyn Jean Blankenship, 65, of Remington died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born November 5, 1948 in Alexandria to the late Joseph and Margaret Corbin Brenner.
Mrs. Blankenship was a member of Canaan Faith Church of God in Stafford and enjoyed horseback and bike riding.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harvey W. Blankenship; one daughter, Vickie G. Bateson of Remington; one sister, Gwen Lee Lee of Hawaii; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Robyn Bateson.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of the Rapidan, PO Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
