Carole Jane Schmidt's Obituary
Carole Jane Schmidt was born Feb. 8, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA to William C. and Mary Jane Schmidt. She was called home on March 29, 2017.
Carole is survived by her brother, William Lesnett Schmidt of Centerville, VA and her sister, Caren Jeanne Kutch of Fredericksburg, VA.
From 1968-1983 Carole resided in Dade County, FL. From 1983-2013 she lived in South Portland, ME. From 2013 until her passing she resided in Fredericksburg, VA.
Carole began her career in modeling in Indiana, Washington D.C. and New York City. She was a manager and instructor of modeling at Patricia Steven’s School of Modeling. Carole later worked as an executive secretary for the Better Business Bureau in Miami, FL and Tri Corp. Credit Union Association in Portland, Maine.
Carole was married in 1968 to Jack Silberman. Carole was a loving sister and aunt to her nephews, William Schmidt, & Richard and Stephen Kutch.
A memorial service in Carole's honor will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 2208 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carole's honor to Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 2208 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
