Carol Ann Richmond's Obituary
Carol A. Richmond, 77, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away January 8, 2023 at her home.
Carol was married to Paul D. Richmond, Sr. for 47 years, until his passing in 2011.
She was a homemaker until her children were grown. Then she was a server at some local restaurants such as Johnny Appleseed and the Forum Family Restaurant. She loved her family, country music, BINGO, and her cat (Baby).
Carol is survived by her children, Paul D. Richmond, Jr. (Martina), Ronald L. Richmond, Joyce E. Wood, and Laverne R. Bower (Tony); her sister, Lelia Jefferson; ten grandkids; and 14 great-grandkids who lovingly referred to her as Mawmaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Jefferson; son, David W. Richmond; sister, Mary Sharp; son-in-law, Gilbert Wood; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
