Carol Lynn Lepp's Obituary
Carol Lynn Lepp, 70, of Spotsylvania County passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Carol was born April 7, 1956, in Wheeling, West Virginia to Thomas and Helen Poliquin.
Carol attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania, where she studied and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
For 24 years, Carol served her community as a dedicated substitute teacher at Salem Elementary School, where she touched the lives of countless students.
Carol was deeply committed to youth development through Scouting America, where she volunteered for 28 years. During that time, she served as a Training Instructor, Den Leader, and Director of Cub Scout Day Camp for 10 years. In recognition of her outstanding service, she was honored with the Silver Beaver Award in 2015.
Carol also gave generously of her time to Habitat for Humanity, volunteering more than 5,000 hours at the ReStore.
In her free time, Carol enjoyed sewing and crafts, sharing her creativity with family and friends.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Lepp; two sons, Christopher Lepp and Thomas (Jessica) Lepp; grandson, Griffin Lepp, and sister, Susan Newcomer of Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Lepp who she loved dearly for 18 hours; her parents, Thomas and Helen Poliquin; and her sister, Laurie Poliquin.
Carol was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her generosity, dedication, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those she served and loved.
Carol’s family will receive friends for a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2026 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will take place privately at a later date.
