Carl Ray Jones, Sr.'s Obituary
Carl Ray Jones Sr.,
Carl Ray Jones Sr., 63 formerly of Fredericksburg VA, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, Oct 25, 2008. Carl was a resident of Ten Mile, TN for the last 2 years; however, still a member of Kingsland Chapel in Stafford.
Born May 29,1945, Carl was a grocery store manager for over 30 years, who lived his life with a deep burning desire to love like Christ loves. He showed his wife, children, friends, family, and strangers how awesome our heavenly Father’s love and grace truly is through the way he lived daily life. A man of great character, his legacy of responding with the same unconditional love & mercy that Christ gave him made him a great leader. A true leader is someone that others see something that they want so they follow, they want what you have. Carl was humble, gentle, compassionate, kind, selfless, giving, patient, man full of integrity, love and joy, he didn’t pull, push or try to convince; his life revealed the glory of God and everyone that knew him wants to be like him. Memories that never fade are made from love. They are part of us now.
Carl was the son of Stanley and Elsie Jones and was preceded by his brother Stanley M “Bunk” Jones. He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Jones of Ten Mile, TN, three daughters Debra A. Cloer, Teresa L. Trippett of Orlando, Fl and Sharon N Wright of Ten Mile, TN and one son Carl Ray Jones Jr. of Loganville, GA. Carl was also survived by six grandchildren and one brother.
