Bryant Bayne Durham's Obituary
Bryant Bayne Durham, 86, longtime resident of Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke died Sunday, December 9, 2012. He was born August 26, 1926 to the late O.T. and Ethel Kilby Durham.
Mr. Durham was a veteran of the US Navy and served during World War II.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Cancis E. Snellings Binns of Orange; nieces, Paula S. Bell (Preston) of Palmyra and Judith E. Bernhart of Rochester, NY; nephews, Joel B. Snellings (Diann) of Madison and Rev. Jonathan Edwards (Jan) of Mesquite, TX; cousins, June K. Clemmons of Orange, Alouise Freidman of Culpeper; and several other cousins in the Richmond area.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, with Rev. Lanny Horton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper V.F.W. Post #2524 and Culpeper American Legion Post #330.
The family would like to thank the Veteran Care Center for the care and compassion shown to their brother, uncle and cousin.
