Brittney Renee Pettus' Obituary
Brittney Renee Pettus, 32, of Fredericksburg, passed away at her home surrounded by family.
Brittney was born in Bronx, New York to Tracey Parson and Bobby Young on March 9,1992. She spent most of her childhood in Georgia. Brittney graduated from Riverbend High School in 2010. Brittney loved to read books, shop, cook, do make-up, and do arts and crafts projects with the kids. Brittney was a CNA and she loved taking care of people.
Brittney is survived by her husband, George KanKam; her parents, Tracey Parson, and Bobby Young; stepfather, Jack Parson; her son, Vincent Antwi; sister, Bianca Pettus; brother, Rakim Pettus; sister, Ashlee Perkins; sister, Sierra Jenkins; bonus sister, Lanette Johnson; four nieces, four nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Terry Pettus; grandfather, Sylvester Wright; and uncle Micheal Pettus.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 30, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
