Brigitte Barton's Obituary
Brigitte Kelley-Barton, 66, of Stafford County passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at her home.
Brigitte was born January 15, 1945 to Gertrude Fischer and Horst Von Papke in Marrish Schonenberg in the Suddetten Land (Cech Republic).
She spent her childhood years growing up on Saur’s Farm in Pilsbiborg, Bavaria attending a small village school taught by a catholic priest of whom she was very fond. Upon graduation she attended nurses training in Munich before moving with her family to Berlin Germany.
Brigitte is survived by her husband of 14 years, John; her oldest daughter, Jeannette and her husband, David and their son, Connor; her youngest daughter, Crystal and her husband, Charles and their daughters, Rachael and Nina; her son, John and his son, John, III; her brother, Otto and his wife, Regina and their children, Torstin and Tina; her sister, Renatta and her husband, Dieter and their children, Sasha and Marion.
Brigitte had many friends and a huge extended family that loved her. She will be sorely missed.
A celebration of Brigitte’s life will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 3:00 pm at her family’s home, 39 Fife Street, Stafford.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to her favorite charity, a no kill animal shelter or to the SPCA of Fredericksburg, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 in memory of Brigitte.
