Brenda Leigh Wacker
Brenda Leigh Wacker, 57, passed peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2015 at her residence in Culpeper, Virginia.
Brenda was born November 8, 1957 to the late Harry and Grace Goulette in Port Huron, Michigan where she spent a majority of her adult life. Brenda dedicated her life to helping others and serving her community as a loving caregiver who owned and operated an adult foster care home for over 14 years. Brenda is beloved by everyone she has known and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her infectious personality and warm heart has brought comfort to many over the years.
Brenda is survived by her three children; son, Barry Peters and his wife Sarah of Rochester Hills, Michigan and daughters Erin Quinn and Megan Wacker of Culpeper, Virginia. Five grandchildren; Caleb and Grayson Quinn of Culpeper and Drew, Brynn and Nate Peters of Rochester Hills. Three siblings; sister, Gail (Pat) McIntyre of Ruby, Michigan, two brothers, Mike (Cindy) Goulette of Kimball, Michigan and Gary Goulette along with his significant other Sue Simmons of Port Huron, Michigan.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her nephew Robert LaTurno.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
Honorary Pallbearers named for the funeral services are Mike Goulette, Gary Goulette, Pat McIntyre, Mert White, Richard Quinn, Henry Howard, Joe Scalici and Aubrey Alexander II.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pike, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
