Brenda Sue Tackett's Obituary
Brenda Sue Tackett, age 56, of Nokesville, Virginia, passed away early Friday, October 14, 2010 morning after her long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, fiancée , and grandmother. Her favorite things were spending time with all her grandchildren; Kyle King, Ricky Gonet, Mason King, Wilson Reyes and Peyton Reyes. She enjoyed taking the family to the beaches of Nags Head every year for our family trip. She loved to watch the sunrise and collect shells with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Tackett and brother, Rodney Tackett. Survivors include her mother Cloia Tackett Payne of Louisburg, NC; her daughter, Kristen King of Nokesville, VA , her fiancée Richard Cartwright of Mechanicsville, VA and other brothers, Dennis Tackett, Paul Tackett, Phil Tackett and sister Vicki Brandy. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a 1:00 PM service to follow at Found and Sons Lee funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. Interment to follow at 2:00 PM at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA. Memorial contributions may be sent to Caring & Sharing Ministries at 8865 Oliver Ct. #1, Manassas, VA 20110.
