Brenda Michelle "Shellie" Darland's Obituary
Brenda Michelle “Shellie” Darland, born December 19, 1972 passed away due to lung cancer on June 27, 2021 at the age of 48.
She passed peacefully in her home in Orange County, VA. in which she shared with her loving fiancé Martin “Eddie” Brackett Jr. He held her hard to see her off on her journey.
Though expected, her friends and family were devastated by the loss. She will be forever missed; she was an amazing person.
A few of her favorite hobbies included reading, playing video games, childcare, spending time with her family, and caring for pets. Her favorite color was purple.
She leaves behind her three beloved children, Brandon Corey Darland, Niccole Hinderer Whitaker, & Jacob Allen McFall along with her two grandchildren, Caitlynn and Jayce Whitaker. She also leaves behind her sister, Terri Leigh Darland and niece, Miranda Leigh Murray. She preceded her parents in death, Brenda and Terry Darland.
Services are being organized by Found & Sons in cooperation with her parents and sister.
May she Rest in Peace as she resides in Heaven, for she was truly an angel that walked among us.
