Brenda Kaye Burgess' Obituary
Brenda Kaye Burgess, 72, of Reva, VA passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Poets Walk Warrenton. She was born December 14, 1951 in Washington D.C. to the late George Richard Burgess and Margrette B. Burgess.
Brenda was a veterinarian assistant and groomer for many years at Madison Companion Animal Hospital and then later worked in Florida. Her main love was her dogs, Pixie and Mattie. She was a very caring and loving person who cared for all animals and plants. Even though she did not have children of her own, she considered her nieces and nephews to be her own.
Brenda is survived by her siblings, Shirley Burgess, Larry Burgess (Rosemary), Peggy Dodson (Jimmy), David Burgess (Diana), and Sheila Brown; nieces, Carrie, Laura, and Lesha; nephews, Richie, Chad, Timmy, and Jeffrey; and a host of great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will follow at the family cemetery, Gore Lane, Reva, VA.
