Brenda Harding Brown's Obituary
Brenda H. Brown, 78, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at home with family by her side.
She was the loving mother to her son Eric Timothy Brown and his wife, Sherry; and her daughter Christy Brown Maynard and her husband, Mark. She was the cherished grandmother to her five grandchildren Samantha Brown, Courtney Brown, Kimberly Brown Tripp and her husband Trey, Grace Maynard and McLane Maynard as well as the proud great-grandmother to Rose Tripp. Additionally, she had a very special “granddaughter”, Cecilia Kans, whom she loved dearly. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Sammy B. Brown.
Brenda was born in Fredericksburg, grew up in Ferry Farms and attended Stafford High School. She worked for many years at Belman’s Grocery alongside co-workers who became lifelong friends. She was a fun-loving friend, mother and grandmother who loved spending time at the beach, listening to Elvis songs, watching scary movies and being with her family. Her love and laughter will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Noon in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary Washington Healthcare Hospice Services.
