Bobby Ray Jenkins' Obituary
Bobby R. Jenkins, 72, of Manassas Park died on Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was born September 15, 1946 in Culpeper to the late John Wesley and Florine Fincham Jenkins.
Bobby was drafted into the Army in January 1966 and was honorably discharged in January 1968. He began working for RC Cola Company and worked there until March 1978. He later went to work for Fairfax County Public Schools and retired in 2008 after 30 years. He was a kind hearted gentleman that was always there for his family.
He is survived by a special nephew dear to his heart, Jay Yowell; special niece and caregiver, Sheila Fincham; and Jesenia Hernandez Obando and Miguel Hernandez Obando, fondly thought of as grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twelve siblings, Jessie Settle, Hugh Jenkins, Ines Settle, Lucian Jenkins, Eugene “Junk” Jenkins, Eleanor Jenkins, Rebecca Anderson, Frank “Pete” Jenkins, Ruth Duncan, Charles Jenkins, Lois Menefee and Doris Yowell.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery.
