Blanche Lee Reese's Obituary
Blanche Lee Reese, 82, of Culpeper, Va. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in Culpeper, Va. surrounded by her family. She was born December 7, 1943 in Culpeper, Va. to the late John Raymond Brown, Sr. and Frances Leavaithian Highlander “Cutie” Brown.
Blanche was a faithful church attendee at City Lights Baptist Church in Culpeper, Va. and she loved her church and family.
Her life verse was Philippians 1:3 – I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.
Blanche leaves behind four children: Derek Fincham, Mike Fincham (Cindy) and Don Fincham (Patty) all of Culpeper, Va. and Angela Newman (Ken) of Midlothian, Va.; two step-children, Tom W. Reese, Jr. (Elsie) of Midland, Va. and Carolyn Geer of Woodbridge, Va.; siblings, Mac Brown (Sandra) of Culpeper, Va. and Dennis Brown (Sandra) of Lake of the Woods, Va.; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by the “Love” of her life, her husband of thirty-five years, Col. Tom William Reese, Sr. and her brother, John R. Brown, Jr. and great-granddaughter, Everleigh Rose Rudd.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Va. with Preacher Charles Shifflett officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery, 12302 Alum Springs Road, Culpeper, Va. with Preacher Charles Shifflett officiating at graveside.
Pallbearers serving the family will be grandsons, Brad and Luke Newman and Josh Fincham, and three special friends, Austin, Jeremy and Kyle Jenkins.
