Bing Lambert, Jr.'s Obituary
Bing Lambert, Jr., 87, of Culpeper, VA went to his Heavenly home on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born December 22, 1926 in Orange, VA to the late Bing Lambert, Sr. and Clara Hart Lambert.
Mr. Lambert was a deacon and member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Rapidan, VA. He was an employee of Bingham & Taylor Foundry for 42 years and also worked for Taylor Bros., Linden Farm and Woodberry Forest School. Mr. Lambert was a member of the Masons and enjoyed doing lawn care and gardening.
He is survived by three children; Earl Bing Lambert and his wife, Patricia of Brandon, FL, Howard Eugene Lambert of Herndon, VA and Rochelle Denise Lambert of Culpeper, VA; two siblings, William Lambert and his wife, Joann of Culpeper, VA and Annie White and her husband, George of Washington, DC; and two grandchildren, Earl Jermaine Lambert of Chantilly, VA and Charlysia Marchelle Picot of Culpeper, VA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Nibblins Lambert; and two siblings, Oscar and Granville Lambert.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11 am at Hopewell Baptist Church, 8566 Clifton Rd. Orange, VA with Rev. Dr. Milton L. Branch Sr. and Rev. Howard Butler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
