Billy K. Edwards Sr.
Billy K. Edwards Sr. passed away Sunday September 21, 2008 at his home in Annandale, Virginia.
He was born in Wise County Virginia on April 22, 1937 to the late Lloyd and Lakie Edwards.
Billy was owner and operator of the Whittington and Edwards Amoco Service station in Baileys Cross Roads for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sue Edwards; his son Billy R. Edwards and his wife Elizabeth of Springfield; a daughter, Penny Edwards of Annandale, two sisters; Wilma Treadwell and her husband Arthur of Richmond and Lotus Vanover. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Brett, Kyle, Bailey and Billy Jr.
The family will receive friends Thursday September 25, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Friday September 26, 2008 at 1:00 at the funeral chapel with Rev. Jennifer Schwitz officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
