Beverly Lynn Canning's Obituary
Beverly Lynn Canning, 56, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Beverly loved staying home taking care of her family and being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed doing things on her own, crafts and listening to music, especially George Strait.
Beverly is survived by her partner of 24 years, Charles (Hoppy) Smallwood of Fredericksburg; five children, Dawn Cornell-Staats (Joshua) of Stafford County, Jennifer McAleese (Robert Picariello), T.J. Canning, and Karli and Kylie Smallwood, all of Fredericksburg; six grandchildren; brother, John Lee Cornell, Jr., of Florida; and numerous other close family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Beverly’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9904, or St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
