Beverley "B.B." Bradshaw's Obituary
Beverley Blair Bradshaw, 76, of Culpeper died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born November 20, 1940 in Culpeper to the late Austin and Marguerite Hoffman Bradshaw.
Mr. Bradshaw, known by many as “B.B.” or “Bev”, was a veteran of the US Army and retired in 1989 after 25 years of service with the U. S. Government as an electronics technician. B.B. was an active member in the American Legion Post 330 having served in many positions and assisted in many community functions. Ultimately he loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and was a member of Culpeper United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Moubray Bradshaw; two children, Donna J. Mills and her husband, Mark of Culpeper, and Michael T. Bradshaw and his wife, Candy of Cookeville, TN; and four grandchildren, Hunter J. Mills, Hannah J. Mills, Ryan M. Bradshaw and Tyler E. Bradshaw.
In addition to his parents B.B. was preceded in death by his one sister, Doris Bradshaw Clore.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery (New Section) with Pastor Sandy Martin and Pastor Randy Orndorff officiating. Military honors will be provided by Culpeper VFW Post 2524.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Culpeper American Legion Post 330, PO Box 122, Culpeper, VA 22701.
