Beulah Elizabeth Puller's Obituary
Beulah Elizabeth Stanton Puller, 81, of Rixeyville, Virginia died Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. Beulah was born February 16, 1942 in Culpeper to the late Robert Stanton, Sr. and Ruth Edna Dinkins Stanton.
Beulah, AKA Elizabeth, loved the Lord. At a younger age she was baptized by Rev. John M. Thurston. Beulah Elizabeth loved to cook and was famous for her homemade potato salad and her mouth-watering rolls. She liked watching her favorite football players, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. Beulah Elizabeth loved playing bingo and watching westerns and game shows.
She is survived by her children, David Stanton (Rowenna), Gloria Stanton, Charlie Puller, Jr. (Melissa), Elizabeth Marie Richards (Tony), and Shrone Puller; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Sanford Reaves, Sr.; her favorite cousin David Tibbs, Jr.; her bonus daughter, Janice Samuel Yates, and her two furry babies, Papi, (AKA Pookie) and Handsome, (AKA Hampton); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Stanton, Jr., Luther Cook, Minnie Drumgoole, Mollie Gordon, and Ruth Reaves; and her best friend, Mary Jackson.
Elizabeth, in the early 1980’s, was an owner of Liz Diner. In the late 1970’s she was also the cook at Camp Happyland, Richardsville, VA and at Culpeper Baptist Retirement Home, known now as The Culpeper for 5 years, and at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation for 8 years.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Mack officiating. The family invites those unable to attend to view via livestream at

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers serving the family will be Andre Puller, Cordell Puller, Dimitri Stanton, Philip Samuel, Duane Jackson, Mark Jackson, David “Junior” Tibbs, and Sammy Long.
