Betty Lou Jenkins' Obituary
Betty Lou Jenkins, 75, of New Market, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at her residence. She was born on March 11, 1933 in Warren County to the late Harry and Emma Jenkins Yates.
She is survived by her brother, Hunter Yates of Charlottesville, brother-in-law, Robert Jenkins, Sr., of New Market, sister-in-law, Norma Jenkins of New Market, 6 nieces, 5 nephews, 11 great nieces, 3 great nephews, 5 great-great nephews, and one great-great niece.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, George B. Jenkins, her son, George Jenkins, Jr. and brother, Carl Yates.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jon Heddleston officiating.
Interment will follow in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, PO Box 208 Sperryville, VA 22740 and/or the Neuropathy Foundation, 445 N. Rossmore Avenue #302 Los Angeles, California 90004.
