Betty Jane Stanley's Obituary
Betty Jane Stanley, 79, of Culpeper died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born September 18, 1928 in South Clinchfield, VA to the late Toby Howard Hall and Violet Edna Counts Hall.
Betty was an avid Bingo player and loved playing cards. She enjoyed volleyball, dancing, horseshoes and listening to music. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Atler Branson Stanley, her children, Raymond Allen Stanley and his wife, Linda of Culpeper, Stuart Atler Stanley and his wife, Dina of Warrenton, Edna Jane Lindemann and her husband, Richard of Culpeper, and her sister, Willie “Wibb” Ball.
Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, Corey Stanley and his wife, Cindy of Brandy Station, Wesley Stanley and his wife, Melissa of Brandy Station, Christina Davis of Culpeper, Jacob and Katie Stanley of Warrenton, Cole and Jesse Lindemann of Culpeper, and four great grandchildren, Ashton, Avery and Cameron Stanley and Mackenzie Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Violet “Polly” Travis, Charlie Hall, Raymond Hall, Vernie Kiser, Sylvia “Snooks” White, and Geraldine “Jerry” Counts.
