Betty Jo Warwick's Obituary
Betty Jo Warwick, 58, of Spotsylvania County, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at VCU Medical Center.
Betty was born in Fredericksburg to Adrian and Mary Wine on February 17, 1968. She graduated from James Monroe High School. In 1996, she met the love of her life, Ray Warwick, through her sister, Kathy Wine. Betty and Ray were married in 1999 and were blessed with two daughters, Courtney in 2000 and Kaylee in 2003, who completed their loving family.
Betty was a devoted stay-at-home mom who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was loving, kind, supportive, and selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own. She had a gift for offering thoughtful advice and a comforting presence, making her a cherished daughter, wife, mother, aunt, cat mom, and friend. Her compassion, generosity, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.
Betty found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved dancing, listening to music, coloring, watching videos of animals, and relaxing with her favorite television shows, including The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and In the Heat of the Night. She treasured spending time with her mother over a cup of coffee and enjoyed gathering with family to play Uno and other games. Above all else, Betty was family-centered, and the time she spent with those she loved meant the world to her.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Ray Warwick; her daughters, Courtney and Kaylee Warwick; her mother, Mary Wine; her soon to be son-in-law, Mark Street; her close friend, Briana Degraf; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cat, Boo.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Adrian Wine; sisters, Kathy and Bonnie Wine; and sisters-in-law, Mary Willis and Rita Smith.
Betty leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
