Betty Sneed-Powell's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Betty Sneed-Powell, 65, of Falmouth died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at her home. She was born in Maine to the late John W. and Elva Murray.
Elizabeth worked as an addiction counselor with the Prince William County Hospital for 9 years retiring in 1990 to join her husband in Germany. She was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ronny D. Powell; two sons, James G. Sneed of Manassas and Ian B. Powell of Florida; a brother, John D. Murray of Saco, Maine and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William A. Sneed.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, December 1, 2006 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Ed Perez officiating. Inurnment will take place in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1009 Stafford Avenue, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
