Betty Settle's Obituary
Betty Settle, 67, of Culpeper passed away June 28, 2016 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born June 20, 1949 to the late Laney B. and Corine Wharton Menefee as well as the wife to the late Alpheause Settle.
She worked for Culpeper County Schools.
She is survived by her sons Greg Settle and his wife Sandy and Jerry Settle, Sr. and fiancé Tonya Gilbert; grandchildren Samantha Settle and fiancé Steve Kilby, Greg Settle, Jr. and fiancé Ashlee, Tyler Settle, Jerry Settle, Jr. wife Victoria, Brittney Shifflet and husband Eric, Meghan Settle, Gary Gilbert, and Dustin Gilbert; great-grandchildren Gavin Kilby, Sophia Settle, Madelyn Settle, and Savannah Shifflet; her brothers James W. Menefee and wife Peggy, George W. Menefee and wife Sally; her sisters Juanita Kenney and husband Larry, and Ruby M. Banks.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one sister Frances Ann Brooks.
A visitation will be held Thursday June 30, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service is going to be held on Friday July 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Settle, Jr., Greg Settle, Jr., Tyler Settle, Michael Frasier, Steve Kilby, and Eric Shifflet.
