Betty June Lasson's Obituary
Betty June Lasson, 89, of Myrtle Beach, SC died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1929 in Bennington, VT to the late Everett and Irene LaFrance Bartlett.
Mrs. Lasson worked for Rite Aid in Culpeper for many years. She loved to read, work on crossword puzzles and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Stephen Lasson of Lincolnshire, IL, and Debra Allen and her husband, Joseph of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Brandon Allen of Culpeper, VA, and Andrew Allen of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Phyllis Leonard and her husband, Ralph of North Pownal, VT; three sisters-in-law, Mary Rubino of Cambridge, NY, Julie Peterson of Renton, WA, and Grace Bartlett of Raymertown, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew August Lasson; three siblings, Janice Gerow, Walter Bartlett, and Everett Bartlett, Jr.; and one daughter-in-law, Roberta Lasson.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
