Betty Ivester's Obituary
Betty Lou Ivester, 71, of Fredericksburg died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Betty worked as a clerk at Walmart for many years.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Ivester and his wife, Cindy, of Fredericksburg; her granddaughter, Shannon L. Ivester of Fredericksburg; two great-grandsons, Hunter M. Ivester and Dylan A. Fernandez, both of Fredericksburg; and her special friend, D.J. Joiner of Fredericksburg.
Betty’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Found & Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral celebrating Betty’s life will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria.
