Betty Fisher's Obituary
Stella Elizabeth Betty Fisher, 93, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late David and Stella Blose, Sr.
Stella graduated from Wilson Teacher's College, Washington, D.C. She was a member of Summerlake Red Hat Society, the Fredericksburg Women's Club and the Wilson Teachers 20 Club. She enjoyed painting and ceramics.
She is survived by four sons, Kenneth F. Fisher, Jr. and his wife, Betty, Richard T. Fisher, Sr. and his wife, Marge, James A. Fisher, Sr. and his wife, Ann and David E. Fisher, Sr. and his wife, Pam; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Fisher, Sr.; two brothers, James Blose and David Blose, Jr. and two sisters, Rhoda Ross and Rachael Sansbury.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 22, 2007 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Allensworth officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Creek Church Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
