Betty Louise Cornwell's Obituary
Betty Louise Cornwell, 84, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at Fredericksburg Health and Rehab.
Betty was a school bus driver for 34 years, and got to know so many people. She enjoyed visiting others and took great pride in her children. She was reliable, generous, and always took care of anyone she met that needed it. Betty liked going to yard sales, doing crafts, planting flowers, and shopping. She loved her family and especially cooking for them during family get togethers.
Betty is survived by three children, Denny Cornwell (Denise) of Ruther Glen, Peter Cornwell (June) of Woodbridge, and Bonnie Terrell (Ed) of Fredericksburg; brother, Stanley Cornell (Sue) of Dumfries; sister, Barbara Ann Cornell of Stafford County; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Cornwell; and son, Kenny.
Betty’s family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial be private.
