Betty Gray Caudill's Obituary
Betty Gray Caudill, 83, of Reva died March 11, 2017, at Culpeper Health and Rehab. She was born August 15, 1933 in Robersonville, North Carolina to the late Sam Stalls and the late Mae Hobbs Stalls.
Mrs. Caudill was a lifetime member of Hazel River Assembly of God and attended Family Community Church. She was a homemaker and found enjoyment in cooking for her family, church, and friends.
She is survived by six children, Dennis Warren Caudill and his wife, Darlene, of Culpeper, Bobby Dean Caudill and his wife, Barbara Lee, of Reva, Chester D. Caudill, Sr. and his wife, Barbara Ann, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Donald R. Caudill and his wife, Debbie, of Chalmette, Louisiana, Glenda M. Settle and her husband, Doug Settle, Jr. of Harriman, Tennessee, and Hope Crocker and her husband, Jim, of Culpeper; a brother, Rudolph Stalls and his wife, Velma, two sisters Peggy Lewis and her husband, Don, and Elaine Phelps Johnson and her husband, Bill, a sister-in-law, Vera Stalls, all of Robersonville, North Carolina, and a brother-in-law, Fred Freeland, of Beaverdam, Virginia. Additional survivors include thirty-four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Earl Caudill Sr and her parents,she is preceded in death by three children, Earl Caudill, Jr, Ina Katherine Meadows, and Atha Emogene Haught.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. Chester Caudill and Rev. Chet Caudill officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery .Pallbearers will be Kenny Meadows, Brett Jenkins, Donald Caudill, Aubrey Settle III, Dennis Caudill, and Philip Parker.
