Bernice Brown Wilson's Obituary
Bernice Brown Wilson went home with Jesus on Friday, April 9, 2021, to join her husband, Herbert M. Wilson, Sr.; her parents, Howard D. and Grace R. Brown; sister, Shirley Jones; and brother, Bernard Brown.
She is survived, and will be missed, by her children, Pat Russell (Bob), Teresa Buchanan (Storm), and Herb Wilson, Jr. (Teresa).
Though Bernice was a woman of few words, she showed her love continuously through her readiness to help anyone who needed it. She lovingly cared for each of her parents until their passing. She loved animals, always feeding the birds and squirrels, and children, especially her grandchildren – Graham Russell, Dr. Courtney Wilson, Marceline Wilson, and Artie Buchanan; and several great-grandchildren.
Due to several of the family members living out of state there will be a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Stafford County SPCA.
