Bernice W. Petrak's Obituary
Bernice W. Petrak, 90, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Bernice was a member of the Lake Caroline Bookworms Club. She enjoyed gardening and always put her family first.
Bernice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always made everyone feel welcome in her home.
Bernice is survived by her husband of 39 years, Joseph Frank Petrak, Jr.; daughter, Nancy Carroll of Spotsylvania; two grandchildren, Matthew Carroll and Ling Yu of Maryland, and Brett Carroll of Fredericksburg; her very dear friend that was like a daughter to her, Jennifer Wolf of Chantilly; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
In lieu of flowers, Bernice’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4200 Innslake Drive, Suite 301, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
