Bernard Daniel Brown's Obituary
Bernard Daniel Brown, 81, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Bernard worked for the City of Fredericksburg in various positions for more than 30 years before retiring in 1992.
Bernard is survived by three daughters, Julia Brown, Cynthia Brown and Robbin Brown, all of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Bernice Wilson of Fredericksburg and Shirley Jones and her husband, Everett of Spotsylvania County; two grandsons, Christopher Daniel Brown and Earl Thomas Brown; one granddaughter, Christina Brown and one great grandson, Jason Daniel Brown, all of Fredericksburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret A. Brown; two sons, Charles Daniel Brown and Howard Franklin Brown and his parents, Howard Daniel Brown and Grace Brown.
Bernard’s family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jack Marcom officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
