Bennie Cope Marsh's Obituary
Bennie Cope Marsh, 83, of Spotsylvania County passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at Carriage Hill Nursing Home.
Bennie retired from Hot Shoppes after 25 years. She was a member of the Fredericksburg Loyal Order of Moose, the American Legion Post 320 in Spotsylvania and the Eagles Lodge in Spotsylvania.
Bennie is survived by three daughters, Lynne Elliot of Kentucky, Nancy Williams and her husband, Roger and Jean Braxton, all of Spotsylvania; a son, Glenn Sullivan of Caroline County; a sister-in-law, Clara Ann Cope of Cope, SC; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Bennie Cope; two brothers, Glenn W. Cope, Jr. and Johnny Cope and a sister, Harriet Cope Hewitt.
Bennie’s family will receive friends Monday, March 7, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jack A. Marcom, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
