Benjamin S. Mallory's Obituary
Benjamin S. Mallory, 75, of Castleton died peacefully Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his residence with his family. He was born June 26, 1934 in Crozet, VA to the late Benjamin and Mary Tombs Mallory.
Mr. Mallory was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking , gardening and 4 wheeling on his ATV.
He is survived by his children, Wanda Parsons and her husband, Bobby, Steve Mallory and his wife, Barbara and Benjamin Mallory and his wife, Patty, all of Castleton, one brother, Edward Mallory of Flint Hill, three grandchildren, Steven Mallory, Tiffany Mallory and Mallory Parsons and one great grandchild, Brandon Baldwin.
Ben was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 35 years, Lorine Settle Mallory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two siblings, Paige Mallory and Sarah Jeffries.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Dr. Norman Taylor, II officiating.
Interment will follow in the family cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alan Wilson, Bobby Settle, Ronnie Settle, Joseph Smith, Joseph Smith, Jr. and Warren Smith.
