Benjamin Ford Davis' Obituary
Benjamin Ford Davis, 83, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Davis was a 1951 graduate of James Monroe High School where he played basketball. He was a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church and had retired from Frackelton Cinder Block Company.
Mr. Davis was a lifetime member of the NRA and one of the founding members of Manahoac Bowman Archery Club where he served as treasurer for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley Davis; son, Ronald Davis; two grandchildren, Shelby Davis and Carley Davis; and great-grandson, Hunter, all of Fredericksburg.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Oak Hill Cemetery.
