Benjamin Michael Cook's Obituary
Benjamin Michael Cook, 13, of Culpeper passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 15, 2011, to Petra Mullins and Robert Cook.
The most important thing to Ben was his family and his pets especially his dogs, Danny and Jay. He loved to play video games and watch gamer videos on YouTube. He also enjoyed all things Sonic and Naruto. He most recently became obsessed with cooking and said he wanted to be a chef. He also had a newfound interest in space and the stars.
Ben is survived by his mother, Petra Lawson Mullins; father, Robert Cook, stepmother, Jody Mullins; siblings, Nicholas Cook, Jennifer Cook, and Brenden Wilson; grandparents, Barbara Cook and Wilma Gayhart; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ben is preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Lawson, and grandfather, Michael Lawson.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 28, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will follow on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
The interment will be private.
