Barry Myers' Obituary
Barry Calvin Myers, 65, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his home.
Barry was a retired Lt. Col. serving in the United States Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Joyce Myers; his daughter, Kelly Mclaughlan and her husband, Ted; his son, Erik Myers and his wife, Talena; his mother, Lorraine Ellis; seven grandchildren, Katie, Jack, Max, Caroline, Riley, Kelly and Logan and a brother, Jerry Myers and his wife, Mary.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway from 7:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 11:00 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Lung Association, 9221 Forrest Hill Avenue, Richmond, VA 23235.
