Barbara Ann Gray
Barbara Ann Calhoun Gray,69 , of Stafford formerly of Culpeper died Sunday June 7, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. She was born September 15, 1939 in Washington D.C. to the late Aubrey Calhoun and The late Elisa Vaughan Calhoun.
She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed doing puzzles and attend church.
Mrs Gray worked at Calhoun Ham House and Country Deli in Culpeper for 30 years.
She is survived by her seven children Robert W. Gray, II and his wife Diane, Vivian Gray Redler and her husband Richard , Ginny Wharton and her husband Greg, Kitty T. Gray , David M. Gray and his wife Kelly, Kenneth E. Gray and his wife Gretchen and Matthew A. Gray .
Additional survivors include 15 grandchildren Brittany Klein and her husband Dan, Wesley and Ryan Gray, Greg Wharton II , Corey Gray and his wife Jessica, Erika, Maureen and Brendan Redler, Austin Katz, Jonathan and Jason Gray and Kara Ann and Robert Gray III, Amanda and Nathan Whaley and her great granddaughter Olivia Wharton.
She is also survived by two brothers Tom and Charles Calhoun.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mason Gray and her brothers Aubrey and Bob Calhoun and a sister Betty Avalier.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 10, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday June 11, 2009 at 10 A.M. at Precious Blood Catholic Church Culpeper, Va with Fr. Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery (OLD).
