Barbara Francis Wood's Obituary
Barbara F. Wood, 77, of Triangle, VA, passed away early morning on Friday, October 8, 2021.
Barbara was an extremely kind, wonderfully loving and very generous person. She was always willing to help others in need whether they asked or not, even when it was difficult for her to do so. Along with her extreme generosity, she was most known for her love of her huge family and her faith in the Lord. One of the great joys of her life was driving her convertible with the top down and just enjoying the ride.
Barbara is survived by two daughters, Susan Oehmann of Triangle, VA, and Stephanie Tilley (Eric) of Arizona; and one brother, Albert Elliott (Donna) of Florida. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, BreaAnn, Valerie, Eric, and Flossy; as well as two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Maximus; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her two sisters, Nancy Kolodziej, and Floretta Elliott; a brother, James Elliott III; and her granddaughter, Taylor Karopchinsky.
Barbara’s family will receive friends for a memorial service in her honor at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
