Barbara Weaver's Obituary
Barbara Ann Weaver, 59, of Boston died Thursday, July 27, 2010 at her residence. She was born May 10, 1951 in Bland County, VA to the late James Lester and Mabel Frances Spangler Roope.
Mrs. Weaver enjoyed fishing and was an avid animal lover in which she loved cats and dogs. She loved helping her husband Joe work on vehicles and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, of 40 years, Joseph Allen Weaver, her daughter, Tracy Lee Weaver of Ellinston, VA, one brother, James Dewey Roope and his wife, Alice of Salem, VA, one sister, Patricia Carol Edwards and her husband, J.P. of Salem, VA and one grandson, Justin Tyler Journell of Ellinston.
Barbara is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Weakley of Front Royal, Melinda Robison and her Fiancé, John of Culpeper and Cynthia L. Myers of Culpeper and three brothers-in-law, Robert G. Weaver of Boston, Christopher T. Weaver and his wife, Wanda of Orange and Gregory R. Weaver and his girlfriend, Patricia of Madison.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert G. Weaver, Jr., Christopher T. Weaver, Gregory R. Weaver, David Allen Nichols, Kirk D. Hale and James Roope.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Ave., Suite B, Winchester, VA 22601.
