Barbara Ann Puidok's Obituary
Barbara Ann Puidok, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.
She is a graduate of the class of ‘65 of Lenape High School, Medford NJ. She was in a plane crash with her first husband, Gary Moorman. Before the injuries from the plane crash caught up with her, she was fairly active, and was also a hair dresser.
Barbara and her husband Larry built a house in New Jersey where they lived. She co-taught 3rd and 4th grade Sunday school. When Philadelphia Saving Bank went out of business, she moved to Virginia.
Barbara worked with her husband at Easy Tax in the front office until the pain from the plane crash restricted her mobility, and restricted her to the back office. She was also very active in the duck race charity. Her favorite song was Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers.
She loved animals, and had dog and kitty cats in New Jersey as well as three rescue cats in Virginia. Barbara and Larry took many cruises over the years and visited Myrtle Beach at least 25 times. They also owned a condotell in Myrtle Beach for their many trips.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Puidok III; her brother-in-law, Richard Puidok; father, William Chapman; sister, Patricia Vitullo; and brother-in-law, Nick Vitullo.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday May 22, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Samaritan's Purse at samaritanspurse.org.
