Barbara June Norris' Obituary
Barbara June Norris, 87, of Culpeper passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV. She was born August 19, 1934 to the late Hilton W. Yowell and Mary Ellis Yowell in Rectortown, VA.
Barbara retired for the Virginia ABC Store in Warrenton, VA. She loved Facebook and shopping.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Nethers (Michael); four grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Carter; brother, “Butch” A.L. Yowell; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip H. Norris; sons, Michael Norris and Wayne Norris; sister, Sylvia Reid; and brother, “Sonny” James Yowell.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 East Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating.
