Barbara Jane Jones' Obituary
Barbara Jane Jones, 71, of Culpeper, died March 28, 2023 at University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1951 in Tennessee to the late Virgie Guill.
Barbara was a kind hearted, giving woman, who was friendly to everyone. She loved her dog and cat. Barbara did crossword puzzles every day, and enjoyed going to tractor pulls.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Roger Jones, Sr.; stepchildren, Duane (Sharon) Jones, Jr. and Martin Jones, Cynthia Griffin; five grandchildren, Reba Bevington, James Streightiff, Katrina Kinder, Nevaeh Robbins, Jacoby Jones; great grandchildren, Elijah, Noah, Kira, Karla, Dusty, Jacob, Chelsea, Abigail, Joshua, and Gabe; two great, great grandchildren, Kennedy and Malakai; two cousins, Shirley Howell and Tim Toney.
In addition to her mother, Barbara is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jennifer Jones and Roger D. Jones, III.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rocky Birckhead officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
