Barbara Lee Hersh's Obituary
Barbara Lee Hersh, 83, of Rixeyville, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. She was born October 16, 1939 in Washington, DC to the late Mildred Tilson.
Barbara was an owner of Hersh Mailing, and in the early 2000’s, she became a co-owner of Quality Services Mailing, a family business for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Wendt (Steven); grandchildren, Dominica Wendt, Sandra Wendt, Heather Wendt, Jamie Spaw, Katie Spaw, Jackie Spaw and Zachary Thomas; great grandchildren, Kayla Woodley, Kyle Woodley, Ava Moore, and Eli Moore; great, great grandchildren, Gracie O’Sullivan, and Sherry O’Sullivan; siblings, Lonnie Wells, Robert Tilson, and Linda Tilson; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her mother (Mildred Tilson) she is preceded in death by her step-father, Bill Tilson; her husband, Charles Ray Hersh; daughter, Annette Hersh; and siblings, Margaret Wells and Glenn Tilson.
The family will receive friends, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
